Supported files and conversion details
Notes, timing, note lengths, velocities, names and MIDI CC data are retained. Format 0 files are split by MIDI channel; format 1 files are split by track and channel. Up to six MIDI markers become MPC locators.
Use a constant tempo and time signature. Tempo changes, meter changes, SMPTE timing and MIDI format 2 are not supported. Pitch bend, aftertouch and SysEx are omitted with a warning. Program changes are listed in the report; they do not select MPC sounds.
This uses the same MPC 3.9 project structure as the desktop converter you tested. It targets MPC 3 devices, not legacy MPCs or MPC Sample. Use a recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari browser.
MPC → MIDI
MIDI data only — no samples, audio or plugin sounds.
Open an MPC 3 XPJ project and export a sequence as a multi-track MIDI file.
Notes, note lengths, velocity, track names, base tempo and time signatures are exported. Drum note numbers are preserved. Each sequence is exported separately; MPC song chains are not rendered.
