About this preset
A metallic frequency-shift effect whose gate listens to the original dry signal through its Sidechain input. This keeps the detector independent of the altered tone. Match Threshold to your instrument, then adjust Shift for dissonant colour. Audio input or Insert FX; it cannot remove playing noise while the gate is open.
Play it in MPC Mod-Synth
- Download the .mpcpatch file.
- In the app, open Menu → Patch → Open patch and select the file.
- Play using the keyboard or MIDI. For live effects, enable Audio Input and connect your instrument.
You can also find this preset by title in Menu → Community presets. Compatible effect chains can be inserted into your current patch using Insert FX.
