The Windows standalone app lets you play without opening a DAW. Build and record note patterns in its piano roll, capture parameter movements, organize ideas in 128 pattern slots and render loops to WAV. MIDI input, all-parameter MIDI Learn, preset search, favorites and protected sound variation support hands-on sessions.
The Windows VST3 instrument brings the same synthesis engine into your DAW. Its tabbed interface groups 361 sound parameters into clear synthesis, modulation, effects and performance sections with host automation, follows host tempo for synchronized functions, and recalls the sound with your project. Use your DAW’s MIDI clips, automation and audio export to develop a complete arrangement.
Move sounds between versions with the shared .mpcfm preset format. Begin with a factory sound or Init, adjust the details and keep the results that make you want to play one more note.

Publishing notes
Copy covers standalone 0.12.0 and VST3 0.1.5. These are separate programs with different interfaces and workflows. Standalone piano-roll, pattern-bank and CC-Learn features are not included in the VST3 editor. Windows does not include the Android MP4 export/share workflow. The VST3 is available as a Setup installer or a ZIP bundle. A compatible 64-bit VST3 host is required; individual DAW compatibility remains to be verified.
